Seasonal Events
Belvedere FBC hosts or participates in several opportunities for
community outreach. Below you will find information about
each of the seasonal events in which we participate or host.
Summer Mission Trips
Each year Belvedere First Baptist Church commissions missionaries
for summer mission trips. Places visited have included
Brunswick, Georgia; Charleston, South Carolina; Ocampo, Mexico; New
Orleans, Louisiana; Glasgow, Scotland; Kenya; and Fredericksburg,
PA. Please pray for us as we seek to share Christ with the
world!
Jack-o-Lantern Jubilee
North Augusta plays host to a downtown event in which organizations
and people sell their crafts and food for profits. However,
we are the only booth in the bunch that offers all our items for
free!! Each year we paint faces, make balloon animals, and
give away FREE bottled water. We always have a great day as
we minister to the multitudes in the name of Jesus and our
church. Each person we come in contact with receives a small
card with the plan of salvation and our church's name, address, and
phone number. Plan to be a part of this mission effort as we
reach out to North Augusta, our Judea, with the love of
Christ.
Trunk & Treat
What a fun night we have as we offer our community an alternative
to traditional trick or treating. Hundreds of children and
their parents have attended in the past as we turn our church
parking lot into an avenue of candy and fun. In addition to
candy, each family is presented with tracts with the Gospel
message. Lots of volunteers and lots of candy are needed for
this event.
Breakfast with Santa
Your children will love an opportunity to sit on Old Man Jolly's
lap and tell him what they want for Christmas. What more
could you ask for? Free food, Santa, and fellowship, all in a
Christian environment. Reservations are required.
